I was recently invited to be a guest at the Parlour Winter Salon where I had the great pleasure of talking with Loata Ho about our work and interests. Loata is an architect and researcher of iTaukei (Indigenous Fijian) descent. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Canberra, her research focuses on the intersection of architecture with women’s cultural knowledge.
We discussed experiences working with the community, de-colonising our work practices and the importance of deep listening. Check out the video below - enjoy!
